"Jazz à Juan"
Created in 1960, Jazz à Juan was the starting point for many other festivals in France as well as in Europe.
The festival is held in July every year over 9 evenings, under the century-old pine trees of La Pinède with the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop.
Since its creation, the greatest jazz players have performed on this legendary stage - Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, and so on. Its line-up also gives pride of place to new talent.
Come and listen to this celebration of jazz at free concerts in the streets and hotspots of the city.
Every evening, in the narrow streets of the old town, on the Place Nationale and on the Petite Pinède stage, groups of all sizes, soloists and brass bands play at the Jazz Off.
In 2020, Jazz à Juan will celebrate its 60th edition.
